Forex trading from Saudi Arabia
The riyal is pegged to the dollar, so a Saudi trader carries no currency risk holding a dollar account. That removes a problem most of the region has to think about.

A pegged currency changes the calculation
The Saudi riyal has been pegged to the US dollar for decades. For a trader that is quietly significant: your account is denominated in dollars, your savings are effectively dollar-linked, and the conversion step that costs traders elsewhere is not a real factor here.
It also means the usual regional motive for trading โ protecting savings from a falling local currency โ does not apply to you. Trading from Saudi Arabia is a decision to take market risk deliberately, not a hedge against your own money losing value. That is a healthier reason to start, and it should change how you size.
Trade because you have an edge, not because your currency is falling. In Saudi it cannot be the second reason.
Funding, and the honest part about regulation
Credit and debit cards work from Saudi Arabia and credit instantly from $10. International bank transfer works too, taking one to three business days with a $100 minimum. USDT on TRC-20 settles in about five minutes, and the Ovadot wallet, Payeer and Ptop are available. Withdrawals return to the method you funded from, in your own name.

Swap-free, and what to check
An Islamic account removes the overnight financing charge, which is interest. The question worth putting to any broker is what happens on day eight โ some grant Islamic status and then add an administration fee that accrues daily and grows with the hold, which is a swap under another name.
On our accounts the charge is removed and nothing time-based replaces it. It covers gold, currency pairs and oil alike.
Your working week and the market's week do not line up
This catches almost every new trader in the Kingdom, and nobody mentions it. The Saudi week runs Sunday to Thursday. The market's week does not.
The market closes late on Friday night and does not reopen until roughly one in the morning on Monday, local time. So your Sunday โ a full working day โ is a day with no market at all. And Friday, part of your weekend, is an ordinary active trading day right up to the small hours of Saturday.
The practical consequence is the weekend gap. Anything you leave open closes at Friday's price and reopens at Monday's, with two days of news in between and no opportunity to act. A stop does not protect you across a gap, because the market never traded at the prices it jumped over.
Money movement follows the same calendar. Deposits stay open all weekend, but withdrawals and internal transfers are paused from Friday 23:45 until Monday 01:15 platform server time, while the market is closed.
Your Sunday is a working day with no market. Your Friday is a weekend day with a live one.
What the peg protects, and what it does not
Because the riyal is fixed to the dollar, a dollar-denominated trading account carries no currency risk for you. That is a genuine advantage, and it is where the advantage stops.
It does not make gold less volatile, leverage less dangerous, or a losing strategy less expensive. Traders in countries with falling currencies are often taking two risks at once and mistaking one for the other; you only have one, which should make it easier to see clearly, not easier to ignore.
It also means you have no defensive reason to trade. Nothing is eroding while you wait, so there is no cost to being patient, learning slowly, and trading a size you can justify.
Common questions
Is TNFX regulated in Saudi Arabia?
No. TNFX Ltd holds licence SD133 from the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles. We are not authorised by SAMA or the CMA, and you remain responsible for the rules that apply to you.
How do I fund an account from Saudi Arabia?
Credit and debit cards credit instantly from $10. Bank transfer takes one to three business days from $100. USDT, Ovadot, Payeer and Ptop are also available.
Do you offer swap-free accounts?
Yes, on request. Islamic status removes overnight financing on held positions and applies to gold, currency pairs and oil.
What is the maximum leverage?
1:500. Remember that leverage does not increase profit per pip โ it only reduces the margin required, which makes an oversized position easy to open.
Why is the market closed on Sunday when it is a working day here?
The global market week runs from late Sunday evening UTC to Friday night. In local terms it reopens at about one in the morning on Monday, so your Sunday has no trading session.
Can I withdraw over the weekend?
Deposits stay open, but withdrawals and internal transfers are paused from Friday 23:45 until Monday 01:15 platform server time while the market is closed.
Should I hold positions over the weekend?
Only at a size you would accept losing to a gap. Prices can reopen well away from Friday's close, and a stop cannot fill at a price the market skipped.
