If your Mastercard or Q-Card no longer works
Some funding routes into Iraq have narrowed. Here is exactly what changed, what still works both ways, and how to keep using the card you already have.

What changed
Direct credit and debit card funding is closed for Iraq. Qi Card and Zain Cash are now limited to clients who had already used them, and if you have used Ovadot the standalone Qi Card and Zain Cash options no longer appear in your portal.
There is also a difference worth knowing about between paying in and taking out. Q-Card via Ovadot, Zain Cash via Ovadot and Zain Cash accept deposits but do not process withdrawals. If you fund through one of those, your payout has to come back through a different route.
What works in both directions
These are the routes that take money in and pay it back out, which is the only kind worth starting with:
Every one of these pays out as well as in. The minimum withdrawal is $50 on all of them.
| Method | Speed | Minimum |
|---|---|---|
| Ovadot | Instant | $5 |
| Ptop | Fast | $10 |
| USDT (TRC-20) | ~5 minutes | $10 |
| FastPay | Manual matching | $10 |
| Local Bank (Iraq) | Instant | $10 |
| Payeer | Instant | $10 |
You can still use your Mastercard or Q-Card
The card in your pocket has not stopped being useful — it just cannot pay us directly any more. What it can still do is buy Ovadot or Ptop balance.
Iraqi P2P exchangers sell Ovadot and Ptop balance for Mastercard, Qi Card and local transfer. You buy the balance from an exchanger, then fund your trading account from that balance in the normal way. The card does the part it is good at, and the wallet does the part that reaches us.
Find an exchanger selling Ovadot or Ptop balance and pay them with your Mastercard or Qi Card. Agree the rate before you send anything.
Open the portal, choose Ovadot or Ptop as your deposit method, and follow the normal flow. It credits like any other Ovadot or Ptop deposit.
Payouts return to the wallet you funded from. Because Ovadot and Ptop both support withdrawal, you are not stuck the way a deposit-only route would leave you.
Using a P2P exchanger without getting burned
We do not run these exchangers and cannot recover money sent to one, so treat them the way you would treat any stranger holding your cash.
- Send a small amount first with any exchanger you have not used before. The few minutes it costs is the cheapest insurance available.
- Agree the rate in writing before you transfer, and keep the messages.
- Keep every receipt — the card slip, the transfer confirmation and the wallet credit. If a deposit needs tracing later, that is what we will ask for.
- Be suspicious of a rate far better than everyone else's. It is the oldest signal there is.
- Never send to someone who contacted you first offering a deal, particularly in a group chat or on social media.
Common questions
Why can't I deposit with my Mastercard any more?
Direct card funding is closed for Iraq. You can still use the card indirectly by buying Ovadot or Ptop balance from a P2P exchanger and funding from that balance.
I used to withdraw to Super Qi. Where did it go?
Qi Card is now limited to clients who had already used it, and it is hidden if you have used Ovadot. Ovadot, Ptop and USDT all support withdrawal and are the routes to use.
Which method is fastest?
Ovadot credits instantly from a $5 minimum. USDT on TRC-20 takes about five minutes. Both also pay out.
Can I deposit one way and withdraw another?
No. Withdrawals return to the method you deposited from, in your own name. That is why it matters to start with a route that works in both directions.
Is it safe to buy balance from an exchanger?
It is widely done in Iraq, but the exchanger is a third party we do not control. Send a small test amount first, agree the rate in writing, and keep every receipt.
