Every way to fund your account from Iraq
Local wallets, cards, bank transfer and crypto — pick whichever you already use. Deposits are usually credited in minutes and withdrawals return the same way.
What each method can actually do
Availability is set per country and can change, and your portal always shows exactly what your own account can use right now. This is the picture for Iraq today.
The column that matters most is the third one. Several routes take money in but cannot pay it back out — that is not a delay, it is how the rail itself works.
The figures in the last column are per transfer on that rail. Opening the account itself has its own first-deposit minimum: $100 on Standard, Cent and Turbo, $500 on Zero.
| Method | Pays in | Pays out | Min per transfer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ovadot | Yes | Yes | $5 / $50 |
| Ptop | Yes | Yes | $10 / $50 |
| USDT (TRC-20) | Yes | Yes | $10 / $50 |

Deposit-only routes, and how to plan around them
Q-Card and Zain Cash move money into a trading account well. Neither can send money back. That is a limit of the local rails, not a decision we make case by case, and no amount of asking support will turn one of them into a payout route.
It only becomes a problem if you find out at withdrawal time. So decide how you want to be paid before you fund:
If you have already deposited through a one-way route, nothing is lost — your withdrawal is simply paid through a route that can pay out, once your identity is verified.
- If you want the simplest round trip, fund with Ovadot. In and out, $5 minimum in.
- If you hold crypto, USDT on TRC-20 goes both ways and settles in about five minutes.
- If you want a bank, local bank transfer (Iraq) works in both directions. International wire does not reach Iraq at all.
- If your card is the only thing you have, buy Ovadot or Ptop balance from a P2P exchanger with it, then fund from that balance — the card does the part it can do.
- Whatever you choose, the minimum withdrawal is $50 on every route.
The two rules worth knowing
Money comes back to you, and to nobody else. Payouts are made in the account holder's own name, through a route that is able to pay out. That single rule is what protects you if anyone else ever gets into your account.
Verify once, early. Identity verification is needed before your first withdrawal — do it on day one and withdrawals stay quick forever after.
Where your withdrawal is actually paid
"Money returns to its source" is the phrase every broker uses, and it is two rules wearing one coat. Only the second is absolute.
The default is that funds go back to the wallet or account they came from, because that is the cleanest anti-money-laundering trail. The absolute rule is that funds are paid to the account holder, in their own name, and never to a third party.
Where those two pull apart, the second wins. Q-Card and Zain Cash accept deposits but cannot pay out, so money that came in through either is paid out through a two-way route in your own name — Ovadot, Ptop, USDT, local bank transfer, FastPay or Payeer.
Where you have deposited by several methods, withdrawals are generally allocated back across those sources in proportion, starting with the most recent and skipping any that cannot receive. The planning advice that follows from all of this is one sentence: if you want the shortest possible round trip, fund with a route that also pays out.
The Iraqi dinar rate we use
Deposits and withdrawals denominated in Iraqi dinar are converted at a published rate rather than the interbank mid-market rate, because the local rails themselves buy and sell at a spread. The deposit and withdrawal rates differ slightly, in the same way a currency exchange quotes two prices.
The current rates are shown in the client portal at the moment you make the request, and the amount you will receive is displayed before you confirm. Nothing is converted at a rate you have not seen.
Common questions
What is the minimum deposit at TNFX?
$100 on a Standard or Cent account. Zero accounts start at $500.
Are there deposit fees?
TNFX does not charge for deposits. Your payment provider may.
Can I deposit in Iraqi dinar?
Yes — local methods are paid in IQD and converted at the rate shown before you confirm.
Which method is fastest?
ZainCash, Qi Card and crypto are typically credited within minutes.
Which deposit method is fastest from Iraq?
Zain Cash and Q-Card through Ovadot, and the Ovadot wallet itself, all credit instantly. USDT on TRC-20 takes about five minutes, and local bank transfer is instant. Remember that Zain Cash and Q-Card are deposit-only — fast in, but your payout comes back another way.
Can I withdraw to a different wallet than I deposited from?
No. Withdrawals return to the source they came from. This protects your funds from anyone who might gain access to your account, and it is required by anti-money-laundering rules. If the original method cannot receive funds, we will ask for an alternative in your own name.
Why was my deposit not credited automatically?
Manual methods such as FastPay and direct Qi Card transfers need a person to match your payment to your account, which is why they carry a stated window. If an instant method has not credited within a few minutes, send the receipt to support and it will be traced.
What is the minimum withdrawal?
$50 on every route. The minimum deposit is lower — $5 through Ovadot, $10 on most other methods.
Can I withdraw to Zain Cash or Q-Card?
No. Both take deposits but cannot pay out. Your withdrawal goes to a two-way route instead — Ovadot, Ptop, USDT, local bank transfer, FastPay or Payeer.
Can I deposit with a Visa or Mastercard?
Not directly — card funding is closed for Iraq and Syria. You can still use the card to buy Ovadot or Ptop balance from a P2P exchanger, then fund from that balance.
Can I withdraw at the weekend?
Deposits stay open all weekend. Withdrawals and internal transfers are paused from Friday 23:45 until Monday 01:15 platform server time, while the market is closed.
