Forex trading from Vietnam: leverage and margin in numbers, and what TNFX is
Every forex question Vietnamese traders put to Google is about leverage: what 1:100 or 1:500 means, how much margin a lot needs, and when a position is closed. This page answers with a full margin table in dollars and dong, then says plainly what the law licenses, how money moves from Vietnam, and what our licence is. The Vietnamese version has the same table.

Leverage is a fraction, not a gift
Leverage of 1:500 means the margin set aside for a position is one five-hundredth of its size. It does not change what you can lose: a 1% move against a $113,370 position costs $1,134 whether the margin was $1,134 or $227. What leverage changes is how much of your balance is tied up, and therefore how large a position the account lets you open — which is exactly how small accounts are emptied.
| Leverage | Margin for 1 lot EUR/USD ($113,370) | In dong (≈ 25,980 ₫/$) |
|---|---|---|
| 1:10 | $11,337 | ≈ 294.5 million ₫ |
| 1:50 | $2,267 | ≈ 58.9 million ₫ |
| 1:100 | $1,134 | ≈ 29.5 million ₫ |
| 1:200 | $567 | ≈ 14.7 million ₫ |
| 1:500 | $227 | ≈ 5.9 million ₫ |
| 1:3000 (Turbo, equity under $1,000) | $38 | ≈ 982,000 ₫ |
Margin is not your risk; the margin call is
When floating losses eat the account down to the margin level set for your account type, positions are closed automatically. The margin table tells you how large a position you may open; your stop-loss, not your leverage, decides how much you can lose. On a $100 account a micro lot (0.01) of EUR/USD at 1:500 needs about $2.30 of margin and moves about $0.11 per pip.
What Vietnamese law licenses, and what it does not
In Vietnam, foreign-exchange trading is a licensed activity reserved to credit institutions authorised by the State Bank; there is no licence for a retail forex or CFD broker, and no foreign broker — TNFX included — is licensed to operate in Vietnam. Vietnamese residents who trade with foreign brokers do so outside that framework and outside any Vietnamese protection. Read the current rules before you act; this page states the position, it does not endorse it.
Deposits, withdrawals and the four-hour clock
There is no Vietnamese bank transfer, MoMo, ZaloPay or VietQR route at TNFX. Six routes work from outside Iraq and Syria, none of them local: a Visa or Mastercard (from $10), USDT on TRC-20 (from $10), the Ovadot wallet (from $5), Payeer and Ptop (from $10), and an international bank wire (from $100, one to three business days). Withdrawals use the same routes with a $50 minimum; USDT and wallet payouts are usually processed within hours, wires in one to three days.
Our server runs on UTC+3, four hours behind Hanoi. The forex week opens at 04:00 Monday Vietnam time and closes at 03:59 Saturday morning; the New York close, when daily swaps are applied, is 04:00 Vietnam time.
