Forex trading from Jordan
The dinar has been pegged to the dollar since 1995. That single fact removes the currency worry most of the region trades around โ and changes what a trading account is actually for.

A stable currency means trading is a choice, not a defence
Jordan's dinar has held a fixed rate against the US dollar for three decades. For a trader that means your savings are already effectively dollar-linked and you are not losing value simply by holding cash.
Elsewhere in the region, a large share of retail trading is defensive โ people trying to escape a currency that is falling. In Jordan that pressure does not exist, which makes trading a deliberate decision to take market risk. It should follow from having a method, not from anxiety about your savings.
The practical implication is about size. If you are not fleeing anything, there is no reason to hurry, and no reason to trade larger than the position you can calmly justify.
Funding and regulation, stated plainly
Cards work from Jordan and credit instantly from $10. Bank transfer takes one to three business days with a $100 minimum. USDT on TRC-20 settles in around five minutes, and the Ovadot wallet, Payeer and Ptop are available. Withdrawals return to the funding method in your own name.
TNFX Ltd is licensed by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under SD133. We are not licensed by the Jordan Securities Commission, and nothing on this page implies otherwise. The licence number is verifiable on the Seychelles register, and complying with local rules remains your responsibility.
What Jordanian clients trade
Gold leads, as it does across the region, followed by the major currency pairs and the US indices. Gold's most active window โ the London and New York overlap โ falls in the Jordanian evening, which is a convenient hour rather than a 3am one.
Whatever you trade, the sizing rule is the same: decide what you are willing to lose first, measure the distance to a sensible stop, and let those two numbers set the position. Leverage never enters that calculation.
What an offshore licence actually buys you
This page already says we are not licensed by the Jordan Securities Commission. Rather than leave that hanging, here is what our licence does and does not mean, because most brokers in this region are in the same position and almost none of them explain it.
What it does. A Seychelles FSA securities-dealer licence means a real entity exists, is registered, is identifiable on a public register, and has obligations it can be held to. You can look up SD133 on the regulator's own site and confirm the company name matches the one you are sending money to. A broker that cannot survive that check should end the conversation.
What it does not. It is not a Jordanian licence and does not give you recourse through a Jordanian authority. It does not insure your balance, and no regulator anywhere refunds trading losses โ losing money on a position you opened is not a complaint any authority will entertain.
So in daily practice, judge a broker on the things you can test yourself: does the licence check out, does a small withdrawal complete cleanly and quickly, are the costs the ones you were quoted. Those three answers tell you more than any badge on a homepage.
No regulator anywhere refunds trading losses. Test the withdrawal instead.
The cost that nobody budgets for
Traders ask about the spread and then never multiply it. Doing that multiplication once changes how often people trade, which is usually the single most profitable change available to them.
A round trip on 0.10 lots of EURUSD at a one-pip cost is about $1. That is genuinely small. Five round trips a day, twenty trading days a month, is $100 a month โ on an account that might be $1,000. The strategy now has to make ten per cent a month before you are level, and that is before a single losing trade.
This is why frequency matters more than the headline spread for most people. Halving the number of trades saves more than switching brokers over a fraction of a pip.
| Trades per day | Cost per month (0.10 lots, 1 pip) | On a $1,000 account |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | โ $20 | 2% |
| 3 | โ $60 | 6% |
| 5 | โ $100 | 10% |
| 10 | โ $200 | 20% |
Common questions
Is the Jordanian dinar pegged to the dollar?
Yes, since 1995. That means holding a dollar-denominated trading account carries no meaningful currency risk relative to your savings in dinar.
How do I fund an account from Jordan?
Card credits instantly from $10, bank transfer takes one to three business days from $100, and USDT on TRC-20 takes about five minutes.
Is TNFX regulated in Jordan?
No. We hold FSA Seychelles licence SD133 and are not licensed by the Jordan Securities Commission. You remain responsible for local rules that apply to you.
Is there a swap-free account?
Yes, on request. It removes overnight financing on held positions across gold, currencies and oil.
What protection does an offshore licence actually give me?
It confirms a registered, identifiable entity with obligations, verifiable on the regulator's own register. It is not a Jordanian licence, it does not insure your balance, and no regulator refunds trading losses.
How much do trading costs add up to over a month?
More than most people expect. Five round trips a day on 0.10 lots at one pip is roughly $100 a month โ ten per cent of a $1,000 account before any losing trade.
Is it legal to trade forex from Jordan?
Nothing prevents an individual from trading with a licensed international broker. What matters is checking that broker's licence yourself, on the regulator's own site.
