Forex trading from Bangladesh: the taka rules, the real costs and what TNFX is
The question Bangladeshis ask first is "is it legal?" — and the answer is not in any broker's licence. It is in the rules for moving taka abroad. This page sets those out, prices a first deposit in taka, explains the swap-free account, and lists the routes that actually reach us. The Bengali version covers the same ground in Bangla.

Is forex trading legal in Bangladesh?
Bangladesh's Foreign Exchange Regulation Act of 1947 is still in force, and under it the taka is not freely convertible for capital transactions: an individual cannot simply remit money abroad to trade on margin, and Bangladesh Bank has warned against online forex platforms more than once. The BSEC regulates the stock exchanges and local brokers; it has no licensing regime for retail forex or CFD brokers at all, so no foreign broker — TNFX included — is 'licensed in Bangladesh'.
So the honest answer is: trading itself is not the regulated act, moving money is. Bangladeshis who trade with foreign brokers fund in dollars through crypto or cards and accept that the account sits outside any Bangladeshi protection. Decide that with your eyes open, and with advice if you need certainty.
What $100 is in taka, and what it buys
At roughly 123 taka to the dollar in mid-October 2026, the $100 minimum first deposit on a Standard, Cent or Turbo account is about 12,300 BDT, and the Zero account's $500 is about 61,500 BDT. On a Standard account the margin for 0.01 lot of EUR/USD at 1:500 is just over $2, so $100 is enough to trade small positions properly. Card and wallet deposits are accepted from $5–10; an account that size is for learning.
| Account | First deposit | Max leverage | In taka (≈ 123/$) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $100 | 1:500 | ≈ 12,300 BDT |
| Cent | $100 | 1:500 | ≈ 12,300 BDT |
| Turbo | $100 | up to 1:3000, dynamic | ≈ 12,300 BDT |
| Zero | $500 | 1:500 | ≈ 61,500 BDT |
| VIP | $100,000 | 1:100 | ≈ 12.3 million BDT |
Halal or haram: the facts a scholar will ask for
A swap-free account removes the overnight interest on positions held past the daily rollover, can be requested on any of the five account types, and carries no replacement fee. It does not change leverage or margin, and it does not turn a cash-settled CFD into a physical exchange of currency — the points on which rulings differ. We publish the mechanics so you can put the right question to the right person.
Deposits and withdrawals from Bangladesh
There is no bKash, Nagad, Rocket or Bangladeshi bank-transfer route at TNFX. Six routes work from outside Iraq and Syria, none of them local: a Visa or Mastercard (from $10), USDT on TRC-20 (from $10), the Ovadot wallet (from $5), Payeer and Ptop (from $10), and an international bank wire (from $100, one to three business days). Withdrawals use the same routes with a $50 minimum; USDT and wallet payouts are usually processed within hours, wires in one to three days.
In practice, Bangladeshi clients buy USDT locally and send it on TRC-20; cards issued in Bangladesh are usually declined for foreign broker payments because of the exchange-control rules above.

One licence, and what it does not cover
TNFX Ltd holds one financial licence: Securities Dealer licence SD133 from the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles, issued to the company founded in 2019 with its registered office at CT House, Office 9A, Providence, Mahé. You can check it on the FSA's own register. It holds no other financial licence anywhere. It is not a Bangladeshi licence and we do not describe it as one.
