Forex trading in Mosul
Mosul trades more oil than any other Iraqi city on our books. That is worth understanding properly, because oil is the instrument most likely to punish confidence.

Oil rewards patience and punishes conviction
USOIL takes a larger share of trading among our Mosul clients than in any other Iraqi city. It is a legitimate market to trade, but it behaves differently from gold or a currency pair and the differences catch people out.
Oil is driven by decisions rather than trends: OPEC production policy, weekly US inventory data, sanctions, and the dollar. Much of that arrives as scheduled announcements, which means the price can sit in a range for days and then move several percent in minutes. A stop placed close to the market survives the quiet days and not the announcement.
It also moves more than most beginners expect in percentage terms. Sizing an oil position by habit rather than by calculation is the most common way to lose more than intended on a single release.
Working in Arabic or Kurdish
Our website, client portal and support are all available in both Arabic and Kurdish, which matters in a city where both are spoken daily. You can open an account, deposit, read a statement and raise a question in whichever you prefer, without switching.
That is not cosmetic. Margin level, stop out, free margin and swap are terms that are easy to misread under pressure, and reading them in your own language is the difference between acting on a warning and ignoring it.
Funding an account from Mosul
Funding from Mosul uses the same rails as the rest of Iraq, and none of them need a bank branch.
Ovadot, Ptop, USDT on TRC-20, local bank transfer, FastPay and Payeer all work in both directions — money in, and money back out again. The minimum withdrawal is $50 on every one of them.
Zain Cash is a deposit route only. It pays in quickly and cannot pay out, so if you fund through it, your withdrawal is paid through one of the two-way routes above, in your own name. Q-Card pays out too for clients who deposited by Q-Card, usually within 10–15 minutes. Direct card funding and international bank wire are not available in Iraq at all.
Verification is done once, and the sensible time is the day you open the account rather than the day you want your money. Payouts are always made to the account holder — never to a third party, which is what stops anyone who gets into your account from redirecting the funds.
The oil calendar worth knowing
Oil spends much of its time in a range and then moves a long way in a short time, and most of those moves happen around scheduled events. Knowing when they are is not a strategy, but not knowing is a way to be surprised on a regular timetable.
The weekly rhythm is the one to learn first: the industry inventory estimate on Tuesday evening Baghdad time, then the official US government inventory figure on Wednesday evening. Both shift by a day when there is a US public holiday in the week, which catches people out every time it happens.
On top of that sit the OPEC+ meetings, the monthly reports, and anything that touches supply routes. And underneath all of it is the dollar: oil is priced in dollars, so a dollar move alone can push the price without a single barrel changing hands.
The practical use of a calendar is not to trade the release. It is to know when not to be carrying more size than you would want to explain to yourself afterwards.
A calendar is not for trading the release. It is for not being surprised on a schedule.
