1:2000 leverage
1:2000 is a real step on our scale, not a headline. It applies to forex while $1,000 – $2,999, and it changes as your equity does. Here is exactly where it sits.
Where 1:2000 applies
On the Turbo account, 1:2000 is the forex leverage while $1,000 – $2,999. Leverage on Turbo is derived from equity rather than fixed when you open the account, so it moves as the balance moves — up if you draw down, down as the account grows. The full scale:
| Account equity | Forex | Gold |
|---|---|---|
| $10 – $999 | 1:3000 | 1:1000 |
| $1,000 – $2,999 | 1:2000 | 1:500 |
| $3,000 – $4,999 | 1:1000 | 1:500 |
| $5,000 – $49,999 | 1:500 | 1:300 |
| $50,000 – $99,999 | 1:300 | 1:200 |
| $100,000+ | 1:100 | 1:100 |
What 1:2000 does to margin
One standard lot of EURUSD is 100,000 euro. Quoted at 1.10 that is $110,000 of exposure, and at 1:2000 the margin locked is $55. At 1:500 the same lot needs $220, and at 1:100 it needs $1,100.
Margin is not a fee. It is collateral, released when the position closes. What higher leverage buys is free margin; what it costs is the distance between your position and a stop-out. At 1:2000 that distance is 20× shorter than at 1:100 on the same lot.
Getting it
1:2000 on forex requires the Turbo account and equity $1,000 – $2,999. Minimum first deposit is $100, swap-free is available on request, and both MT4 and MT5 are supported. Deposit bonuses do not apply to Turbo.
The part most pages leave out
Around the market open and before the close, and for fifteen minutes either side of major scheduled news, every account drops to 1:500 on forex and 1:300 on gold regardless of equity. Those are the windows where spreads widen and prices gap.
Common questions
At what account equity do I get 1:2000 on forex?
1:2000 applies while $1,000 – $2,999. Above that the scale steps down; the full table is on this page.
How much margin does 1:2000 need for one lot?
About $55 on a standard EURUSD lot, taking 100,000 euro at 1.10 as $110,000 of exposure. The same lot needs $1,100 at 1:100.
Which account gives 1:2000?
The Turbo account. Standard, Cent and Zero are fixed at 1:500, and VIP at 1:100. Turbo has a $100 minimum first deposit.
Does my leverage change while a position is open?
It can. The step follows your equity, and around the market open and close and either side of major news every account moves to 1:500 forex and 1:300 gold. Keep free margin above the minimum rather than sizing to the edge of your step.
Do you offer 1:2000 or 1:3000 on gold?
No. Gold tops out at 1:1000, and only while account equity is under $1,000. 1:3000 is a forex figure. Any source saying otherwise about us is wrong.
What leverage is best for a beginner?
Lower than the maximum, and the question matters less than position size. Leverage sets the margin locked, not what a pip is worth. Start on Standard or Cent at 1:500 and size positions from the cash you are willing to lose.
