Forex trading from Syria

For traders in Syria the hard part is almost never the trading. It is moving money — and the methods most brokers assume you have are the ones that do not work here.

What actually works for funding

Credit and debit cards do not work from Syria. Neither does the ordinary international banking route that most brokers treat as the default. Being clear about that up front saves people a wasted week and a rejected payment.

What does work is ShamCash, which handles both deposits and withdrawals from $10 and settles in five to ten minutes, and USDT on TRC-20, which typically takes a few minutes and does not depend on any local banking relationship at all. The Ovadot wallet, Payeer and Ptop are also available.

Withdrawals return to the method you deposited from and are paid in your own name. Funds are never sent to a third party — which matters more, not less, where payment routes are limited, because it is what prevents anyone else redirecting your money.

Why USDT is worth understanding

For many traders here, a stablecoin is not a speculative choice but the only reliable way to move value in and out. USDT on TRC-20 settles in minutes, costs very little in network fees, and works independently of banks.

Two practical warnings. First, network matters: send TRC-20 to a TRC-20 address. Funds sent on the wrong network are frequently unrecoverable, and that is true at every broker and exchange, not just here. Second, always send a small test amount first when using a new address. The few minutes it costs are cheap insurance.

USDT is used here as a transfer rail, not as a position. Once the funds arrive they sit in your trading account in dollars.

Swap-free accounts and what we are licensed as

An Islamic account removes the overnight financing charge on held positions, which is interest. It applies to gold, currency pairs and oil, and is granted on request for religious observance. There is no substitute administration fee that reappears after a few days.
